Britney Spears has had four books published including A Mother's Gift. She has also had seven DVDs including her 2005 reality series Britney & Kevin: Chaotic, a doll, a video game, and participated in seven tours including The Onyx Hotel Tour in 2004. She has grossed over US$385 million from tour ticket sales and over $235 million in merchandise from her tours, the most ever by any performer. Furthermore Britney earned more than $370 million because of commercials, more than US$1.1 billion for her records and more than $260 million for her singles.
Spears endorsed a fragrance, "Curious", for which she earned a reported US$52 million. After one year of sales, the product netted more than US$195 million, selling over 182 million bottles. Curious was named the best selling perfume of 2004, and one of the best selling perfumes ever, in World history. To date (April 2008), Curious has sold over 578 million bottles, earning Spears more than US$590 million. Following the success of "Curious", Spears released her next Elizabeth Arden fragrance, "Fantasy", in September 2005. In April 2006, Spears launched Curious: In Control as a limited edition fragrance. 2006 also saw the release of yet another perfume: Midnight Fantasy. September 24, 2007 marked the release date of a new fragrance collection Believe which makes it her fifth perfume in three years. She has released her sixth perfume, "Curious Heart", in January 2008. It has so far sold over 30 million bottles. Britney Spears has earned over US$845 million from perfume sales, and has sold over 785 million bottles of perfume Worldwide, making Spears the best perfume creator, seller and endorser ever. During her active years from 1998 to 2008 she had earned more than US$3.6 billion.




Britney Spears won big at Sunday’s 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, taking home three awards, including Video of the Year. She kicked off the show with Superbad’s Jonah Hill in a pre-taped skit, where he tried to teach her some relaxation techniques. See Video
