Britney Spears Outrageous Lyrics:
Outrageous
When I move my body
Outrageous
When I’m at a party
Outrageous
In my sexy jeans
Outrageous
When I’m on the scene
Outrageous
My sex drive
Outrageous
My shoppin’ spree
Outrageous
We on a world tour
Outrageous
Let’s be it, girl
Outrageous
Sexy as I wanna be
Got these fellas chasin’ me
It’s ’bout time I hit the streets
All my girls still feelin’ me
B girl ain’t lost the beat
Jumped over drama and I landed on my feet
Gotta keep goin’
No stoppin’ me
And if you don’t like it, then
La la la la la la la
Media, over here
Comin’ through like a world premiere
Trench coat and my underwear
Let’s go with this freak show
It’s outrageous
When I move my body
Outrageous
When I’m at a party
Outrageous
In my sexy jeans
Outrageous
When I’m on the scene
Outrageous
My sex drive
Outrageous
My shoppin’ spree
Outrageous
We on a world tour
Outrageous
Let’s be it, girl
Outrageous
I’m about to bring the heat
Lockin’ down the industry
All dressed up and glamorous
Red carpet and cameras
Take trips around the globe
Tints on my Jeeps so nobody knows
So hot, gotcha coming out ya clothes
I’m about to give ya the
La la la la la la la
Media, over here
Comin’ through like a world premiere
Trench coat and my underwear
Let’s go with this freak show
It’s outrageous
When I move my body
Outrageous
When I’m at a party
Outrageous
In my sexy jeans
Outrageous
When I’m on the scene
Outrageous
My sex drive
Outrageous
My shopping spree
Outrageous
We on a world tour
Outrageous
Let’s be it, girl
I just wanna be happy
In a place where love is free
Can you take me there
Somebody, ooh
And when you mention my name
Make sure you know the truth, yeah
Until I vow to keep it forever
Outrageous
When I move my body
Outrageous
When I’m at a party
Outrageous
In my sexy jeans
Outrageous
When I’m on the scene
Outrageous
My sex drive
Outrageous
My shopping spree
Outrageous
We on a world tour
Outrageous
Just be it, girl
Outrageous
When I move my body
Outrageous
When I’m at a party
Outrageous
In my sexy jeans
Outrageous
When I’m on the scene
Outrageous
My sex drive
Outrageous
My shopping spree
Outrageous

Music video
Shot in New York City, New York, the supposed-to-be music video for "Outrageous" that is included on the Greatest Hits: My Prerogative DVD starts in the middle of the song where Snoop Dogg is seen playing basketball with a group of gangsters. Suddenly, Britney interrupts and ruins the game. She proceeds to flirt with Snoop Dogg before jumping into his arms and licking his beard during the line "until I vow to keep it forever." (This is only shown on the Greatest Hits DVD). In the next scene, she and her dancers perform in a wet street, which is where she injures her knee.
Chart performance
"Outrageous" performed very weakly on the charts and did not have an accompanying video to support it. The single peaked at number seventy-nine on the Billboard Hot 100; It also ranked considerably low on both Dance and Top 40 radio.
Interestingly enough, "Outrageous" received some airplay in late 2003 and early 2004, just before "Toxic" hit the airwaves. Although it had no impact on the latter's performance, the fact that an unpromoted track from the album was on the airwaves had a few people convinced that "Outrageous" was the actual new single by Britney Spears. The track "(I Got That) Boom Boom" had similar airplay around the same time.
So far it's her worst performance in Latin America, peaking at #100 for a week.
| Chart (2004) | Peak Position |

| Tokyo Hot 100 | 45 |
| Latin America Singles Chart | 100 |

Trivia
- This song was originally the theme for the 2004 film Catwoman but after Spears injured her knee, it was replaced quickly by Mis-teeq's Scandalous, which was the reason for the absence of a Catwoman soundtrack album. Although half-way through the film, a scene takes place at an opera house, where the instrumental for the "Junkie Xl's Dancehall Mix", released on the Greatest Hits: My Prerogative compilation, is clearly heard.
- On 16 November 2004, in NCIS episode Terminal Leave when Agent DiNozzo and Todd are in the bathroom, Agent Kate Todd is heard listening to this single whilst in the shower and singing along to it, as does Agent Tony DiNozzo whilst he's brushing his teeth.
